The AirCam Enclosure

aircam-enclosure-2015Here’s an update on the AirCam enclosure project. The design has been finalized and most testing is complete. Flight testing has been going well, but the factory team still has to complete basic spin testing, which will require the installation of an emergency parachute system.

All the parts are ordered for the first run of 18 enclosures, with 14 already spoken for. Keith Campbell's AirCam will be the first customer aircraft to be fitted with the enclosure, and it will be on display at the Sun ’n Fun International Fly-In and Expo on April 21-26 in Lakeland, Florida. Stop by the AirCam display booth in the Main Exhibit Area to see Keith’s AirCam, or visit the AirCam display in the LSA Mall to examine the enclosure on the factory demonstrator, N912LA.

Final pricing on the enclosure is yet to be calculated as bids are still coming in on various parts as we “go to print” with this artical.

To place your deposit and reserve a space in the enclosure production line, please contact Robert Meyer; e-mail

The accompanying photos show the enclosure from various vantage points. Again, please visit us at Sun ’n Fun to “try the enclosure on for size.”
