Re: enclosure
Wondering the same thing.
Sure would be nice to have.
Would definitely make it easier to justify buying an Aircam up here. In fact an enclosure would just about seal the deal for me......

Re: enclosure
I found a clip on the new enclosure today but its filmed from the passenger seat and is pretty limited in its scope.
I wish the folks from Air Cam would be a little more forthcoming with news of this new option for those of us who are lustfully waiting. I retire in the next 18 months and would like to know if this is the plane for me. I fly in northern Canada so an open Air Cam simply wont work. An enclosed Air Cam with a surplus of heat however jumps to the top of my list. Come on Air Cam...Share!

Re: enclosure
i'm on the west coast of BC where it rains... a lot. the enclosure would reliably extend my season to year round. i understand that it would be a fair bit of engineering if you consider that you'd have to design some kind of defrosting/defogging and air conditioning to go with it. no point having a fancy enclosure if you can't see out of it.

Re: enclosure
I've been holding off on buying for 3 years due to the same reason. Talked with George Weber at EAA. He said its almost done. So, I took the plunge and bought the kit. Will be hoping to take mine to Canada, and Alaska. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Re: enclosure
This video from the recent Heaven's Landing Fly-In shows the new enclosure.

It covers everything including the baggage compartment. I spoke with the factory last week. The version on the video shows an opaque panel over the front cockpit. This will be clear in the production version. I'm starting on my kit in a couple of weeks and plan to add the enclosure. It's removable for hot weather flying.
