Off Field Landings

Hi All,

I'm thinking of building or buying an AirCam, and I'm curious how able they are at off-field landings. For instance, if my friend has a decent sized field in his back yard, can the aircraft land/depart there without much trouble? Is the landing gear assembly able to tolerate surfaces that aren't as smooth as a normal landing strip?

Thanks for the info!
