Popular demands for a four-cylinder Rotax 912 powered drifter has spurred the development of it. Performance is astonishing; as it is one of the lightest aircraft powered by the tried & true 81 hp Rotax 912. The engine flies the aircraft at very low setting, making for super-quiet operations and tremendous power reserves. Takeoffs are very short, and climb rates & angles usher in a new standard of performance for the aircraft. Fuel efficiency is greatly improved, with gains on the order of 30%!
